The CXO Leaders Awards 2017 Categories

Marketing, customer experience and digital industry professionals that have made a significant contribution to their field will be recognised at the Australian CXO Leaders Awards night.

Awards for Individuals

Marketing Leader of the Year

This award recognises top level CMO’s or Marketing Leaders of companies or organisations within Australia who are able to demonstrate:

  • Marketing initiatives that have contributed substantially to the organisation and/or industry
  • Extensive industry knowledge and observable innovative approaches to ensuring their organisations growth within the market
  • Empowering leadership and communication across all organisation levels as well as stakeholders/clients

Customer Experience Leader of the Year

This award recognises top level Customer Experience Leaders of companies or organisations within Australia who are able to demonstrate:

  • Customer experience initiatives that have made an impact improving customer satisfaction and retention
  • Communication practices that translate an organisations value proposition into the customers’ language with the best channel
  • Empowering leadership and communication across all organisation levels through to customers/clients

Digital Leader of the Year

This award recognises top level Digital Leaders of companies or organisations within Australia who are able to demonstrate:

  • Initiatives that have assisted in the successful transition of analog business practices to digital
  • Instances of digital transformation that have enhanced the entire digital consumer experience
  • Empowering leadership and communication across all organisation levels through to customers/clients

Rising Star of the Year

This award recognises up and coming marketing superstars who are 30 years or under as at 1 January 2017 and employed in a full-time marketing role or as a marketing company owner with the ability to demonstrate:

  • Significant contribution to specific campaigns and/or initiatives and their value addition to the project
  • Career highlights, personal achievements and meaningful contributions to their team, organisation and/or industry as a whole
  • Noteworthy leadership and commitment to the marketing profession
Awards for Teams

Marketing Team of the Year

This award recognises Australian in-house marketing teams of any business or organisation who are able to demonstrate:

  • Initiatives that have added value to the specific brand, product, service and/or organisation and tangible evidence of this
  • Established team culture; including recruitment and retention, development and overall team dynamic through diversity
  • Practical communication practices that foster collaboration with partners, stakeholders and customers

Innovation & Tech Excellence Award

This award recognises organisations within Australia who are providing innovative and technological solutions for new and existing market needs they will also be able to demonstrate:

  • Effective conception and market introduction of a product and/or service that has had a significant impact on customer experience
  • A clear framework of how their products and/or services have enhanced the organisational profile, brand awareness and customer scope
  • Outstanding initiatives that have assisted in the introduction and promotion of products and/services to the modern market

Creative Agency of the Year

This award recognises Australian organisations that offer a combination of design, technology and advertising solutions for their clients and are able to demonstrate:

  • A portfolio of projects that showcase exceptional intergration between design, technology and advertising features that exceed the client’s expectations and goals
  • Creative and innovative solutions that have added value to a client’s brand while remaining consistent to their vision
  • Acquisition of an expert team that work well in collaboration, understand each individual’s role and fulfil these roles effectively to meet the clients needs.

How it Works

Step 1

Nominations

All Marketing, customer experience and digital industry professionals have the opportunity to recognise and be recognised for having demonstrated excellence in innovation and marketing practices Australia wide. Nominations can be made via the online portal through the Nominate Now tab above.

Nominations should focus on initiatives introduced and achievements made over the last 12 months. We welcome individuals to nominate in as many or as few categories as they wish at no additional cost.

Step 2

Research & Selection

The CXO Leaders Awards selection committee will get to work sorting through the nominations and select finalists. Those shortlisted finalists will then be notified by phone or email and sent a finalist pack detailing the requirements moving forward.

Step 3

Finalist Submision

Finalists that did not self nominate will have the opportunity to update or resubmit their nomination submission should provide this to the CXO Leaders Awards team as soon as possible due to the short time-frame between selection and judging.

Step 4

Judging

The completed finalist submissions will then be sent to an independent panel of judges comprising of top CMOs, customer experience and digital leaders, all of whom are well respected and selected for their integrity and industry knowledge. They will judge each submission based on the criteria and quality of submissions.

Step 5

Awards

The aggregate scores of each category will be scrutinised with the finalist submission with the highest score becoming the winner. The winners of each category will be announced at the CXO Leaders Awards ceremony on the 9 August 2017.
